Central Pacific zone, Manuel Antonio National Park

On our Manuel Antonio National Park Tour you will relax and enjoy protected forest and stunning beaches at the same time.

Manuel Antonio National Park is the smallest national park in Costa Rica, but one of the most rich in wildlife. In addition, this park has some of the best beaches in the country. For instance, on this tour you will visit beaches with both black and white sand, enjoying the beautiful colors of the Pacific Ocean.

On our way to this beautiful place we will travel along the Pacific Coast. This road offers awesome views along the coastline. The palm plantations and peculiar small villages will be your partners.

Next, we will be at the legendary port of Quepos, which is surrounded by primary rainforest. You will take a glance of its beautiful center village, a growing fast town and yet a fascinating historical place.

Afterwards, we will go over the hill and finally, just minutes away from Quepos, we will be at the Manuel Antonio National Park.

The access to the park is closed to vehicles. Therefore, you will hike while enjoying the beauties of nature, exuberant vegetation and the natural wonders of the tropical rainforest.

For this hiking, you will have a trail along the shore, available from 7:00 a. m. a 2:30 p. m. In addition, there is a trail adapted for people in a wheelchair. We will help you to find out about its availability in case you need it.

After a couple of minutes, you will be at the first beach, Playa Espadilla. There are 5 beautiful beaches inside the park. The beaches 2 and 3 are available from 7:00 a. m. to 2:30 p. m. The public beach sets up outside the park and it is available from 5:00 a. m. to 10:00 p. m. during the week.

In addition, you can hike through the Manuel Antonio National Park’s trails to spot some of  the rich diversity of plants and animals. For instance, you can see  the three-toed sloth on a lucky day, but mostly you will run into small reptiles, raccoons and the famous white-faced monkey.

The views from the trails are breathtaking. Because of this, if you chose to hike to the Manuel Antonio National Park, do not forget your camera!
