As you leave Sarchi and on the way to the volcano, you will go across the Central Volcanic Mountain Range. On this winding road, you will see coffee, sugar cane, and cattle farms, as well as ornamental plants.
You will also go through the breathtaking rainforests of private reserves and national parks located on both sides of the road. And of course, on clear days, you will glimpse the unique views of the volcano from your vehicle.
Your next stop is at La Fortuna, the closest town to the Arenal Volcano. You will enjoy a delicious lunch at a nice typical restaurant.
